I arrived in Canada as a temporary worker at Tim Hortons on September 27, 2012. Through hard work, I became a permanent resident in 2015. Since then, I juggled two jobs to make ends meet. In 2014, I met an advisor who introduced me to a universal plan product. I didn’t dive too deep into the details at the time because my main priority was securing my stay in Canada. Then, in 2017, I met another agent who suggested I study Finance with Greatway. I enrolled with the intention to start, but on the same day, Costco offered me a job, so I decided to put my studies on hold.

I worked hard at Costco, believing it was the right opportunity—a job with great benefits. From the beginning, I took full advantage of the RPP benefits, contributing 10 percent of my salary every two weeks to secure my retirement and provide for my family’s future.

In 2021, while I knew I had a stable job with solid benefits and a salary that covered our bills, I felt something was missing. I wanted to earn more, so I could enjoy the freedom to travel and experience life more fully.

In November 2021, I decided to study Finance and thoroughly learned everything I could. I gained a deep understanding of my policy, and since then, I’ve developed a passion for educating others. I earned my license in March 2022 and began building a team.
